Hi, I'm Marsha Montgomery, the founder of Blissful Sleep and creator of DoulaBooks.

For over 20 years, I worked in child care administration, and since 2018, I've been supporting families as a postpartum doula and agency owner. As a business owner, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the financial side of running a doula agency can be.

As my agency grew, so did the spreadsheets, contractor payouts, mileage tracking, and end-of-year confusion. I needed a system built specifically for doulas — so I created one.

DoulaBooks was designed to give solo doulas and agencies clear, organized, and reliable financial tracking without complicated accounting software. No spreadsheet chaos. No tax-season panic. Just straightforward tools that actually work.

When I’m not building systems or supporting families, you’ll find me at the beach, with my grown kids and grandson, or wrangling my three dogs.
